Where did the year go?

Our Birthday Boy!

It just seems like yesterday that I was counting down the days to our little man's arrival!  Where has the time gone?  I feel much older today than I did just one year ago, no doubt due to the lack of rest or relaxation that I've gotten in the past year.  Adding a third child, one that required so little sleep, has been very challenging. 

A Big Cake for a Big Boy

Last Saturday we celebrated Tucker's first birthday. We had a small party with family and a few friends.  We had too much cake and too many presents.  There were balloons and party hats.  I cried just a little afterwards. 

Our First Birthday Wish

I always wish the same thing for my children on the first birthday - that he would have a long and happy life! I think he was a bit confused by the whole process but he liked being the center of attention.

 It's been a fast year!  It's been filled with sleepless nights and long days.  Tucker has 8 teeth and weighs 24 pounds.  He started walking at 11 months and loves to eat.  He has the best laugh and a big "Lentz-size" head.

 He is attached to his "poppy" and loves his big sisters.  He is so sweet and loving.  He gives long hugs and wet, open-mouthed kisses.  He has the bluest eyes.

We are still waiting on him to sleep through the night, but sleep or no sleep- we think we'll keep him anyway.
